Hello! I’m Dhriti, and I currently serve in a leadership role with the Women in International Trade Business Council (WIITBC) at the International Trade Council (ITC). After spending over a decade in the world of international trade, with a special focus on trade finance in the banking industry, I’ve gathered a wealth of experience in the field.
During my time in banking, I became a Certified Trade Finance Professional and a Foreign Exchange Officer through the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. On top of that, I’ve also ventured into the world of Digital Trade Finance and FinTech, earning certifications from the International Chamber of Commerce.
What I love most is helping others who are just starting their journeys in the export-import business. That’s why I launched a YouTube channel specifically aimed at helping fellow Bengalis understand the often confusing world of international trade.
Currently, I’m a full-time researcher at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, focusing on the agriculture sector. I’ve published several works on topics like India's agricultural export policies and modern agricultural trends, and I’ve even explored how cryptocurrencies can play a role in international trade.
Here are a few spots where my work has made an appearance:
